Three people were taken to hospital after a fire near the entrance of Ghana Party in the Park in Barnet caused gates to close, leading to a crowd surge when they reopened. The festival was stopped early, with 23 people receiving assistance from emergency services.
A man in his twenties was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and suspicion of indecent exposure after police responded to a welfare call in Kidbrooke Grove, Blackheath. Officers used a taser to detain him during the incident.
