TfL shoots 655 pigeons at London stations in two years

Transport for London has killed 655 pigeons at Tube stations and depots since March 2024, using air rifles during overnight culls. TfL says the practice is necessary to prevent disease and structural damage, but wildlife groups call it ineffective and inhumane.
