Gallows Corner flyover closed overnight, weekend junction shutdown announced
Transport for London confirmed that the Gallows Corner flyover will be closed overnight on 17 September and that the entire junction will be shut from the evening of 18 September until Monday morning. Diversion routes are in place and reopening is planned for the end of the month.

Havering Council confirmed that Gallows Corner junction and its flyover will close overnight on 17 September and then shut completely from the evening of 18 September until the morning of 21 September. The work, led by Costain after ESW finished its tasks, should finish by the end of September 2026, ahead of the council leader’s October deadline.
