Waltham Forest Council hid abuse report after school legal threat

A 2016 report detailing the misuse of calming rooms at Whitefield School in Waltham Forest was suppressed after the Flourish Learning Trust threatened legal action against the council. The failure to act meant the rooms remained open for six months, during which time pupils were subjected to abuse.
