Tower of London moat to become wetland after £70m upgrade approved

Historic Royal Palaces has secured permission to transform the Tower of London’s dry moat into a wildlife-friendly wetland. The £70 million project will use a Victorian culvert as a water storage tank, following successful trials of a small wetland patch.
