Man dies at Charlton Athletic stadium after suspected fall

A 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at The Valley stadium in Charlton on 18 August 2026. Police are investigating whether he fell from a height. Charlton Athletic relocated their under-21 match to Sparrows Lane and offered condolences to the family.
