Girl, six, dies in hospital after Shoreham sea tragedy

A six-year-old girl has died in hospital following a tragedy at sea in Shoreham, West Sussex. Saja El-Khawas passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, three days after she and three family members were pulled from the water. Her father, mother, and older sister had previously been confirmed dead.
