Hampstead Heath pond changes restrict low‑income swimmers

The Kenwood Ladies’ Pond Association has written to Alderman Gregory Jones KC complaining that the City of London Corporation’s refusal to accept instalment payments, closure of the booking phone line and cash‑less policy are making Hampstead Heath’s bathing ponds less accessible for low‑income users. A judicial review by Sex Matters is set for later this year.
