TfL grants first self-driving minicab licences to Uber and Wayve in London

Transport for London has approved 15 licences for self-driving minicabs, operated by Uber and Wayve. The vehicles will initially carry a safety driver, with plans to expand pending further regulatory approval. The trial marks a first for London’s private hire sector.
