Sixty firefighters tackle Rainham wildfire near Berwick Pond Road

Sixty firefighters and eight engines responded to a wildfire near Berwick Pond Road in Rainham on 30 July 2026. The London Fire Brigade brought the blaze under control by 5.12pm, though crews remained on site to tackle remaining flames.
