South Western Railway targets Waterloo fare evaders after £1m revenue risk

South Western Railway has launched a crackdown at London Waterloo after finding 95% of barcode tickets between Vauxhall and the station are used fraudulently. The trial identified 153 short-faring offences in four weeks, protecting £45,000 in revenue.
