London buyers see modest demand lift but price pressure persists

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors reported a net balance of 19% of professionals seeing buyer enquiries drop in August, but price‑fall reports eased to 28% from 29% in July. Rightmove added that buyer demand rose 5% between 1 and 5 September, offering a small boost for London house hunters.
