Westminster shop director admits selling unsafe Guida Christmas lights

Westminster City Council trading standards officers removed 33 sets of Guida-brand Christmas lights and 26 USB adaptors from a Queensway store after tests found they posed fire and electrocution risks. Director Abdul Hamidi admitted six offences under electrical safety regulations and will be sentenced on 19 August 2026.
