Live facial recognition trial at London stations yields no serious offender matches

A six-month trial of live facial recognition at London railway stations has not identified any serious offenders, British Transport Police said. The technology, deployed at Victoria and other Underground stations since February, has led to 13 arrests for unrelated offences, while public polling shows 72% of Londoners want a say on its use.
