Met Police to arrest Palestine Action supporters at Westminster protest
The Metropolitan Police will deploy officers outside Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 30 July 2026 to arrest supporters of Palestine Action, a group proscribed under the Terrorism Act. No related court hearings are scheduled, but police say verbal or visible support is illegal and will lead to charges.

Met Police close investigation into guillotine t-shirt image shared online
The Metropolitan Police have ended their investigation into an image of a man wearing a t-shirt depicting a guillotine, shared on Instagram on 27 July 2026. Police concluded no offence was committed in sharing the image, which was part of a 20-image post, but a crime report has been filed over the t-shirt being worn at an event in Bristol.
