Lewisham Library reopening delayed to late 2027 after structural flaws found

Lewisham Council has pushed back the reopening of Lewisham Library to late 2027 after uncovering structural problems during renovation works. The £24 million town centre revamp, funded by £19 million in Government money and £5 million in council funds, includes market improvements and a new business hub.
