Met firearms officer cleared of misconduct after four-year inquiry

The Independent Office for Police Conduct has decided not to pursue misconduct proceedings against a Metropolitan Police firearms officer, ending a nearly four-year investigation. Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley called the system 'broken' and warned of risks to public safety.
