High Court halts Thamesmead estate demolition over emissions data

A High Court ruling has paused the demolition of Lesnes Estate in Thamesmead after a resident argued Bexley Council lacked full greenhouse gas emissions data. About 20 households remain on the 1960s estate, which Peabody plans to replace with new homes.
