London businesses face tax pressure as LCCI urges cost cuts ahead of budget

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry has called on the government to lower business costs and undo the £20bn increase in employer National Insurance contributions. Chancellor John Healey is expected to announce a £150m fund for fast‑growing northern firms on 28 October.
