British Museum bans photos of Bayeux Tapestry as tickets sell out

Visitors to the British Museum can no longer photograph the Bayeux Tapestry after the museum cited congestion. The show opened on 10 September 2026, generated over £2.4 million in ticket sales on day one and is sold out until 21 October 2026.
