Mayor Sadiq Khan pushes cap on robotaxis after Brent trials

Sadiq Khan has asked the government to set a ceiling on robotaxi numbers after 24 Baidu‑powered vehicles began testing in Brent. TfL can only give consent, not licence, and the mayor warns of impacts on air quality, congestion and taxi jobs.
