A 1996 self-portrait by David Bowie is expected to sell for between £35,000 and £55,000 at Sotheby's Modern British & Irish Art Day Auction on Thursday 15 October 2026. The painting has remained in the same private collection since Bowie gifted it to his St Ives gallerist.
