Facial recognition cameras start at Victoria Tube on Tuesday

British Transport Police will begin a live facial recognition trial at Victoria Underground station on Tuesday 10 September. The cameras will scan for people on a police watchlist, with images of non-matches deleted immediately. Alternative routes will be available for passengers who choose not to pass through the signed areas.
