Coroner to issue safety warning after boy's death at crossing

An 11-year-old boy died at the Bourneview pedestrian level crossing near Kenley Station in January 2025. An inquest found the death was accidental but highlighted a lack of safety features at the crossing, which had been recommended for upgrades almost two years prior.
