Croydon Council opposes draft London Plan’s 5,600 green‑belt homes

Croydon Mayor Jason Perry announced the council will formally oppose the draft London Plan’s allocation of 5,600 homes on green‑belt land. The borough’s ten‑year target of 21,544 homes includes 15,944 brownfield sites, and the council submitted its objection before the 15 October consultation cut‑off.
