Arriva bus drivers strike over 40C cabs risking heatstroke and crashes

Over 1,500 Arriva North London bus drivers are striking after cabs reached 44C, causing heatstroke and near-crashes. Unite demands air conditioning, while Arriva says it has added breaks and welfare checks. Strikes will disrupt routes across north and east London and Essex until 20 October.
