Greenwich Foot Tunnel to close for urgent repairs in October

Transport for London will close the 122-year-old Greenwich Foot Tunnel for three weeks from 7 October after inspections revealed corrosion in the cast-iron lining. Engineers will install temporary supports and replace damaged sections. Cyclists must dismount and use alternative crossings.
