FTSE 100 climbs to 10,739 as oil slips and JD Sports eyes Mexico

The FTSE 100 finished at 10,739.01, up 0.8 per cent, after Brent crude fell to $100.28 a barrel. JD Sports revealed a long‑term franchise partnership for Mexico and Elixirr International posted a 17% rise in pre‑tax profit.
