Blue plaque for David Devant, magician who brought film to Britain

A blue plaque has been installed at the Belsize Park flat where David Devant lived. Devant, known as 'Britain’s greatest magician', introduced the first public film screening in the UK in 1896 and co-founded The Magic Circle.
