Havering datacentre to emit 1.2m tonnes of CO2 annually

A proposed datacentre in north Ockendon, East Havering, could emit 1.2 million tonnes of CO2e annually, equivalent to over 26,000 long-haul flights. The development's electricity demand would also match that of more than a million UK households.
