London safety myths debunked by KCL report, crime rates lower than perceived

A new 80‑page study by King's College London’s Policy Institute shows London has some of the lowest violent crime rates in England and Wales, yet residents overestimate personal risk, the size of the Muslim community and the existence of Sharia‑law enclaves. The report also notes a halving of nitrogen dioxide levels and a record £80 billion annual income‑tax contribution to the Treasury.
