Nine Women Sue Met After Coronation Arrests Near Animal Rising Workshop

Nine women arrested during the King’s coronation in May 2023 are suing the Metropolitan Police, claiming unlawful detention and body searches. The group, aged 20 to 64, attended a non-violent Animal Rising workshop five miles from the event. No charges were brought after months of investigation.
