Upminster residents invited to comment on new electricity substation

National Grid has opened a consultation on a larger electricity substation to replace the Warley facility on Clay Tye Road. The process runs 21 September‑16 October 2026, includes two local meetings, an online session and a £500,000 community fund proposal.
