New Spitalfields Market in Walthamstow has completed London’s largest rooftop solar installation, a 1.4 MWp array expected to generate 1.27 GWh of electricity yearly. The £1 million project, managed by the City of London Corporation, aims to reduce grid reliance and support its 2027 net-zero target.
