Merton Council approves 249 affordable homes in Mitcham’s Majestic Way

Merton Council approved a 249-home affordable housing development in Mitcham on 30 July 2026, despite objections over height and heritage. Clarion will fund £1,358,982.98 in local improvements via a section 106 agreement, with demolition set for February 2027.
