Mark Peter Adkins, 59, died after being struck by a train at Chadwell Heath station on 13 August 2026. An inquest began at East London Coroner’s Court on 2 September 2026. The coroner’s officer said the case is not being treated as suspicious and families have been granted interested‑person status.
