London could gain £21.5bn under new tax devolution plan

A proposal by the Centre for Cities thinktank suggests Sadiq Khan could receive 2.3 per cent of London's income tax and 0.8 per cent of its corporation tax. This aims to devolve an estimated £21.5 billion to mayors over four years, granting more control over transport and housing budgets.
