Metropolitan line delay leaves Wembley concertgoers trapped for 90 minutes

Passengers returning from a Bruno Mars concert at Wembley Stadium were stranded on a Metropolitan line train for 90 minutes on 28 July 2026. The delay, caused by a trespasser on the tracks, forced the removal of traction current and left some passengers suffering from heat exhaustion.
