Former Barnet-based officer David Wager barred after misconduct panel finds predatory conduct

A former Metropolitan Police constable who worked in Barnet has been barred from policing after a misconduct panel found he abused his position to pursue a sexual relationship with a woman he met while responding to a mental health crisis in Bexleyheath in 2016. The panel concluded he would have been dismissed without notice had he not already resigned.
