Barnet Hill Academy to become state-funded faith school in September 2026

Barnet Council will take over Barnet Hill Academy in West Hendon as a voluntary-aided Islamic faith school from September 2026, removing fees and doubling projected pupil numbers by the early 2030s. All respondents backed the proposal during a statutory consultation.
