Black cabs to stay on Bank Junction after mixed safety trial

A trial that reopened Bank Junction to black cabs showed more taxis available but an increase in estimated annual casualties. The City of London Corporation will seek to keep the east‑west access for taxis after January 2027, with the Planning and Transportation Committee set to decide next week.
