Ambulance crews faced 73% rise in alcohol incidents on bank holiday Monday

London Ambulance Service crews responded to a 73 percent increase in alcohol-related incidents on Monday, August 25, 2025, compared to the previous Monday. The service attended 467 such incidents over the August bank holiday weekend, a rise of nearly 40 percent from the preceding weekend.
